Elan Skis, handcrafted skis made in the Slovenian Alps for almost 80 years, reflects on one of the most successful Ski Cross seasons in Elan history, proving the brands’ athletes are the best in the world. The FIS 2021/22 World Cup Ski Cross season took place across nine locations with a total of twelve races for both men and women. The battle for the ultimate “Crystal Globe” started in China and ended in Switzerland, with Elan athlete, Ryan Regez from Switzerland earning the two biggest titles of the season, taking home the Olympic gold medal and the Crystal Globe as the overall FIS World Cup winner.
Throughout the season, the Elan team continued to show up to the races with exciting racing performances. As a nine person team, together, the Elan Team earned 27 collective podium appearances. In addition to the World Cup accolades, Elan athletes also added an Olympic Gold Medal (Regez) and Olympic Bronze medal (Sergey Ridzik) to the list of honors.

Ski Cross is the most interesting and engaging discipline in skiing, in many aspects. There are jumps, speed turns, overtakes and tactical tricks, but there is much more to the sport than that. The Elan athletes are the true stars here and Elan is proud to support their honest commitment and facinating results.
