GOAL

To make the fastest skis

Forces are unevenly distributed among inside and outside parts of the skis

forces follow specifc lines longitudinally and from inside to outside of the skis

PROBLEM

Inside ≠ Outside
Analysis of force distribution during skiing revealed that forces are unevenly distributed among inside and outside parts of the skis.

Line Force Distribution
Forces distributed along the ski follow specific lines longitudinally and from inside to outside. This requires different construction on the inside and outside part of the ski.

Side elements / Bones
are reinforced elements that go out of the arch construction and follow the ski’s sidecut.
Central arch
interior construction is stronger and reinforced with a carbon layer along its entire length.

SOLUTION

Central spine arch power and edge grip
The ski’s interior construction is stronger and reinforced with a carbon layer along its entire length. This provides perfect edge grip upported also by the camber part of Amphibio® Profile.

Side elements/bones torsional stability
Bones are reinforced elements that go out of the arch construction and follow the ski’s sidecut. They assure torsional stability also on the outside of the ski. Together with the rocker part of Amphibio® Profile they bring very direct and precise turns.
