Filip Flisar is the winner of the second World Cup skicross this season in Telluride, USA. For the current World Cup winner in this discipline this is the fourth World Cup victory of his career .
''I liked the track from the very beginning, so I went into the race very confident and I was sure that I can achieve a good result. I didn't go into the race with anger, but with confidence, because I knew what I'm capable of doing. " said Flisar after winning.
In the final run Flisar beat Frenchman Frederic Chapuis, Canadian Brady Leman and the Swiss Armin Niederer. In the excellent first meters of the race Flisar got in front of his opponents and stayed there until the end. Photo finish showed that he beat the runner-ups for less than a meter.
Skicross caravan will now move to Europe, with qualifications in French Val Thorens starting on Tuesday, 18 December.
